What is WordPress?

Answer: WordPress is a free content management system. Simply put, it makes creating and maintaining websites super easy through an online interface. Once it’s installed on your domain and web hosting, all you need is a computer and internet connection to edit your website. And if you know how to use Microsoft Word, then you can operate WordPress.

What restrictions will there be?

Answer: That depends on the service that you hire us for, really if you would like to know any specific questions to concerns that you may have, you should contact us and we’d be happy to discuss in detail any restrictions that there may be. You can also review our Terms of Service document.

For the most part, we don’t feel that there will be any restrictions that can impede the performance of your eMarketing campaign or that would make our clients feel that they are not in control.

The only area that there are specific restrictions are within website hosting. Evolve Creative Marketing offers our clients a fantastic and highly competitive website hosting service, aside from that we only deal with a few specific Website Hosting Companies, so if you are interested in hiring Evolve Creative Marketing to create your website. That is, we only deal with the best Website Hosting Companies (that’s why we use them). We highly recommend our North American clients use HostGator, we’ve found that they provide the best service.

If you would like us to use another website hosting company, there may be additional fees. The reason for this, is due to the large number of hosting companies and the variety of their control panels. If the Evolve Creative Marketing is required to spend time learning a new interface we will need to bill for our time. We are willing to review your hosting providers control panel to determine if there will be any complications, at 10 minutes of review time free of charge.

Do I get Full Control of my website?

Answer: Yes you do. Our clients have 100% control over their website, after they buy as described in our Terms of Service. We set it up – you take the wheel. We want you to have full ownership of your site.

What kind of support does Evolve Creative Marketing Offer?

Answer: Support for our clients include, but not limited to: how to use the basic features of WordPress as a Content Management System, we have a large selection of free documentation and video tutorials to help explain the primary features of WordPress.

We are also constantly adding to the resources (articles and video tutorials) that we have available at our Non-Profit eMarketing and WordPress Support Site, WordPress Buddy.org, including tips, tricks and advice for optimizing websites and getting better search engine rankings, social media and other interesting topics.

SUPPORT HOURS: We actively respond to support questions and request during normal business hours which are Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central Standard Time. Every effort will be made to get back you in a timely fashion as we certainly understand your web presence is very important to you.

Can I call you?

Answer: We do not (typically) offer phone support services. This enables us to keep our prices low for you the customer. We do however answer email as fast as possible. Some phone support may be available to high priority “emergency” situations.

Answer: We can’t control what other website designers and WordPress developers charge, but we do believe in offering a fair amount of work for a fair price. The WordPress Buddy service is great for getting a high quality Content Management System, set up for a very low price (only $125). We’re able to do this through the systems we have in place for communicating with our WordPress Buddy clients, and a proven service system.

What is your refund policy?

Answer: Because of the nature of our service — which are digitally delivered and non-tangible goods — we cannot offer refunds or chargebacks for purchases. Therefore, please read our FAQs carefully before purchasing your theme installation and customization.

When can we meet?

Answer: Evolve Creative Marketing operates in both Australia and Canada, and has clients anywhere in between. It is very difficult for us to actually sit down with our clients. However, under certain situations we will make the effort to meet face to face. Fortunately, with communications tools like email and Skype we are able to meet virtually from anywhere in the world and at practically any time.

We do also try to connect with our clients through webinars and when we are in their area for speaking events and conferences.
